STATEMENT OF GENERAL POLICY

Impact Adventures Limited (the “Company”) is committed to leading the industry in minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment.

POLICY ACTIONS

The key points of its strategy to achieve this are:

• Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
• Minimise toxic emissions through the selection and use of its fleet and the source of its power requirement.
• Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
• Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.
• Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to the Company.
• Use an accredited program to offset the greenhouse gas emissions generated by our activities.

ACCOUNTABILITY

The Company accepts responsibility for any harmful effects its operations have on both the local and global environment and is committed to avoiding or mitigating them.

CARBON OFFSET POLICY

Impact Adventures recognize that by virtue of organizing trips and deploying projects overseas we are in fact contributing to great carbon emissions, notably through the fuel used to transport our travelers from their home countries to our project sites.

In order to offset the carbon footprint that Impact Adventures is generating through our trips, we will support organizations that are committed to reducing the carbon dioxide in the air. Specifically, for every traveler that takes part in one of our trip we will support the acclaimed NGO Trees for the Future by funding their cost of planning 10 tress which will offset the carbon emissions of that traveler.

COMPLIANCE

The Company will comply with all relevant environmental legislation both in the country where we are domiciled (England) as well as all the countries in which we deploy projects, such as Kenya, Zambia, Uganda and others.

The Company will implement a training program for its staff to raise awareness of environmental issues and enlist their support in improving the Company’s performance. We will encourage the adoption of similar principles by its suppliers.
